Are your course learning outcomes making your job easier? They can! Well stated course learning outcomes can help you create better assignments, quizzes, tests, lectures, discussion sessions, online discussions, in class activities, rubrics, and criteria, and aid you in selecting content for your course! Many instructors find themselves expected to write them but have not had any help in learning how to write them.

We will use two tools for writing course learning outcomes, tweaking and cleaning up vague language, and making your intentions clear and transparent. Participants will also be introduced to curriculum mapping and how their well stated course outcomes more clearly feed into and align with the broader, program level outcomes.
