[This is a face-to-face workshop only. Concepts apply to group learning in any type of course format. A Certificate in Group Learning is available for those who complete the optional Certificate designs.

In this final module of Small Group Learning, we provide brief attention to embedding Small Group Learning rationale and descriptions into your syllabus to increase transparency. Participants will be versed in the Small Group Learning Checklist and receive the rubric, Syllabus Alignment with Active Learning and Implementing Active Learning to guide the completion of their Group Assignment design or future designs.

We will save time for concluding issues or questions that participants want to raise, concepts that need further explanation from earlier modules, or brief newly requested information.

Participants will have the opportunity to share all or portions of their Small Group Learning Assignment and how they have embedded it into their syllabus, and obtain guidance on how to complete the Certificate requirements.
