Data collected in spring and fall 2015 from students and instructors in UWM’s Northwest Quadrant and Kenwood active learning classrooms will be presented by Connie Schroeder of CETL. As one of the key learning outcomes, critical thinking was examined through class observations, interviews, surveys, and focus groups. Funded by a grant from the Professional and Organizational Development Network, participants attending will formulate questions regarding implications of the data presented and how to leverage higher learning in these unique learning spaces, using technology, and group learning.
