Interested in learning more about creating a course overview or providing your students with a short Voiceover PowerPoint to draw attention to the important parts of the content in your online or blended course? This 2-hour workshop will focus on the pedagogical and technical aspects of developing instructor-authored content online through the use of text, images, and audio. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Save a Microsoft Word document as a .pdf
- Save a PowerPoint with notes as a .pdf
- Upload PDF documents to the D2L Content page
- Create a Voiceover PowerPoint presentation with iSpring Free
- Upload an iSpring Free Voiceover PowerPoint presentation to D2L
- Choose a content delivery method based on need and other considerations
Please note that the iSpring Free solution is for PC users only. If you are interested in learning more about instructor-authored content using Mac products please contact us at the LTC to set up an individual meeting.
Note: Workshops with less than 3 participants may be canceled at the discretion of the presenter. This workshop is intended for those who are, or expect to be, teaching blended or online courses. A basic working knowledge of D2L is assumed.
