Desire2Learn (D2L) is a Web-based course authoring tool which gives students easy online access to course content and information, grades, quizzes, and many other instructional features. This introductory hands-on workshop is designed for instructors and teaching assistants who will be using D2L in their UWM courses.
During this 2.5 hour workshop, instructors will be able to walk-through an overview of the Learning Management System at UWM, D2L, and learn about the News tool, Content area, Administrative functions, Gradebook, and Dropbox features. The knowledge gained from this basics workshop will provide instructors with the ability to create their own D2L course sites.
Please bring your own fully-charged laptop to the workshop and make sure you have UWM WiFi established on your device.
