Effective learning in small groups relies on embedding five principles of collaborative group work into the entire course design. Multiple examples of each of the five principles in action will be provided and time will be available to start designing your own group project. Part II will focus exclusively on small group learning.
Participants will receive the CETL booklet, Active Learning and Small Group Learning and Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle. Active learning classroom instructors are strongly encouraged to attend. Participants are eligible to achieve the Certificate in Active Learning and Small Group Learning.
