In this introductory, hands-on workshop, instructors will learn the fundamentals of using Canvas for teaching and learning. Participants need to complete this workshop before attending Canvas: Advanced.
This workshop will occur online, using Collaborate Ultra, a video-conferencing tool. Prior to the workshop, attendees will receive an email with a link to participate online. Participants should join the virtual session 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the workshop to work out any potential connection issues.

- Organizing content using Modules
- Adding pages, files, links, and images
- Using the Syllabus tool
- Creating course announcements
- Adding assignments to Canvas
